Storgatens blomsterhandel is a professional florist connected to Interflora.

Interflora is a member owned international chain and in Norway involves about 340 independent florists.

There are 17 employees at Storgatens blomsterhandel today. That includes professional florists, trainees and office workers.

The development of the professional has always been our main goal. Jan Steinar Moen and Torbjørn Åkesson has for many years been active in teaching and as course leaders, both in Norway and internationally. Jan Steinar Moen was also involved with the new teaching plan Reform 94.

We are often invited to hold demonstrations to show new trends. Flower decoration is a profession that follows fashion but at the same time holds onto the old traditions. We have held demonstrations around the world in places such as Japan, Taiwan, Germany, Italy, Spain and the whole of Scandinavia. From this we bring back new ideas and impulses.
